The Details

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation technique leading to a state of yogic sleep or relaxed consciousness. Practitioners have found that the benefits are many, including:

helping relieve physical and emotional tension, sharpening memory and focus, improving sleep, reducing anxiety and feelings of stress, increasing connection of mind and body and creating an overall sense of wellbeing.

In this 25 hour immersion led by Adina Kelman, trainees will study Yoga Nidra's origins, purpose and benefits. Trainees will receive in-depth instruction on the structure and elements of yoga nidra, how to create a class and how to effectively guide students through this meditation technique.

Trainees will gain tools and framework that they can use to design their own yoga nidra meditations. They will become comfortable guiding individuals into meditation through yoga nidra.
