Functional Inversions & Arm Balances: How to Do Them & How to Teach Them

Join Jeff for a workshop on Inversions and Arm Balances that will change your perspective. Whether you're new to balancing on your hands and arms or a seasoned hand/arm balancer, you will gain knowledge to take your own practice to the next level and help others to safely, effectively get upside-down as well.

Learn the physics.

Understand the core.

No more guessing.

We will discuss:

– building the pose before even taking flight

– alignment tips to manage and correct balance

– how to fall safely to overcome fear

You will learn the evolution of arm balances and handstands, where “you” are on the path and how to move forward and help others. We will identify common pitfalls and compensations that hinder flight or cause injury along the path to learning balance.
