Andrew walked into his first yoga class a total skeptic, wearing a baseball hat and wondering if guys practiced yoga. Humbled and intrigued, Andrew and his wife Trella never looked back. At first attracted to how physically challenging the practice was, then how precise, deep and vast the yoga practice is Andrew has been totally hooked ever since that first class… but retired the baseball hat.
Andrew’s intense dedication to the practice challenges him to learn on and off the mat every day. Andrew received his 280hr certification from Raji Thron’s yoga synthesis training in May 2011 and his advanced certification with Schuyler Grant of Kula Yoga project in October 2011. Andrew draws upon his early interests in Ashtanga, intrigue in movement of vinyasa, precision and creativity of kula flow, intelligence of iyengar, and total love of inversions to create a fusion of creative flow while getting upside down with precise integration and alignment. He is eternally grateful to his teachers Brock and Krista Cahill, Schuyler Grant, Nikki Vilella, Raji Thron, Amy Pastore and Maty Ezraty.
