The Art of Hands On Adjustments
Haven’t we all had an unforgettable adjustment from a yoga teacher that made us melt, taking us into a deeper state of bliss? There is an art to this collaboration of energy between student and teacher. In this workshop we will explore the biomechanics of the body, methods of observation, and the appropriate techniques of touch, to create powerful hands on adjustments. Whether you are a new teacher or have been teaching for a while, this workshop is meant to encourage greater confidence and add to your repertoire, so that you are able to create memorable shifts for your students.
This workshop is designed for Yoga Teachers and Advanced Yoga Students currently enrolled in a Teacher Training.

Instructor: Denise DeLuca Madden
Denise DeLuca Madden was born an artist, seeing everyday as a gift of inspiration. She shares her passion for the artistry of yoga with deep devotion and abiding love. Denise’s soulful teaching is inspired by her students and an ongoing commitment to parenting, meditation, yoga, chanting, writing, and all that fuels the expansion of her heart as a devoted student of life. Denise was first initiated into yoga through her mother in her teens and began a meditation practice that led her to an ever-unfolding experience of Pure Consciousness and transformational power. Shortly after receiving a 200 hour certificate in 1998, she found Anusara Yoga and received a 300 hour Anusara Yoga Certification with Todd Norian. In her classes, Denise creates an exciting, yet safe space intended to nurture the student’s highest potential by offering precise alignment instruction, a deep understanding of the bio-mechanics of the body, intelligent sequencing, mythology and Tantric philosophy. She is known as a community collaborator and motivator for deepening our connection and love as a collective consciousness. “My deepest desire is to empower my students to awaken to the full spectrum of their hearts, as a conduit of Divine understanding, unfathomable bliss, and freedom, and to use their practice, as well as their lives, as a continual affirmation of this masterpiece of life!”
