Growing up as an athlete, Erica always felt a strong connection to
physical movement. It wasn’t until her mid-twenties that she desired a
stronger connection to her emotional self and a deeper sense of
fulfillment within that movement. The second Erica stepped onto a yoga
mat, she knew that her gym memberships were a thing of the past; She had found that connection she had been yearning for. The sense of release
and freedom that she felt after a class was something she knew that she had
to share and continue to discover.
Erica completed her 200 hour teacher
training in March 2014 and dove headfirst into her journey as a yoga
teacher. Her hope is that her mistakes and life challenges inspire and
awaken something within every student that she crosses paths with. Her
passion to serve, love and heal is what feeds her emotionally and forces her to continuously grow as a teacher.
Erica has a tremendous amount of gratitude for her teachers along the way who have challenged her, shaped her and opened her eyes to living a
meaningful life. Lastly, she would like to express a very big thank you to her students who allow her to guide them and trust her to hold space for them while they move towards their highest self. Being able to witness the vulnerability and courage of her students has helped Erica realize her purpose in this life and for that, she is eternally grateful.
