Ann Turi

Ann Turi began practicing yoga in 2008. Focusing on Bikram Yoga for the first two years of practice set her foundation. In 2016 she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and in 2018 she completed her 500 hour certification both led by Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City. Dharma Yoga is a graceful, yet challenging form of yoga based on Sri Dharma Mittra’s almost fifty years of practice of classical yoga. The practice is appropriate for students of all levels, from beginner to lifelong practitioners and accessible to so many because it meets each student where they are and according to their condition. As students move through the different series, they are encouraged to go deeper and experience the practice in a meditative and spiritual way.

Ann has practiced yoga all over the world. Her practice led her to an ashram in 2013 where she studied at the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavla, India.

Ann is the mother of two boys, lives in Franklin Lakes, NJ and serves as In House Counsel to a London based pharmaceutical company.
